Azerbaijan has started large-scale military exercises today. Around 25 thousand soldiers are taking part in it. 250 units of armored equipment are involved in the exercises, about 1000 unit artillery and also 50 military plane and helicopter.
The participants will have a task to rebound the conditional opponent's attack and go counter-attack.
However Azerbaijan has grossly violated OSCE commitments before informing the member states of the exercises in the country. RA Foreign Military spokesman Tigran Balayan wrote about this on his Twitter.
"Azerbaijan has started military exercises (the most significant event of the re-election campaign of the country's president) without informing about it to OSCE participating states grossly violating the commitment undertaken before the organization", wrote Balayan.
