An earthquake of 5,9 magnitute strikes Australia

The State Geological Bureau of Australia reports that an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 was recorded off the coast of Australia's Macquarie Island.
The epicenter at a depth of 10 km deep, was located about 700 km west from the island, where the Macquarie-Island scientific subarctic station is located, and where Australian and New Zealand scientists live and work reportedly.
There were no reports of damage or casualties.
