An earthquake of 5,9 magnitute strikes Australia
![]() 392 Monday, 06 March, 2023, 12:42 The State Geological Bureau of Australia reports that an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 was recorded off the coast of Australia's Macquarie Island. The epicenter at a depth of 10 km deep, was located about 700 km west from the island, where the Macquarie-Island scientific subarctic station is located, and where Australian and New Zealand scientists live and work reportedly. There were no reports of damage or casualties. |
