Vehicles from the US Army and the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were seen driving past each other on the road linking Manbij and Kobani, near the M4 highway in north-eastern Syria, on Monday. Footage shows the vehicles from both forces driving in opposite directions. The SAA and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) struck a deal on Sunday to deploy forces in the area, against the ongoing Turkish military operation.
