1545 Wednesday, 27 November, 2019, 12:00 Washington DC has adopted a resolution that recognizes Armenian Genocide, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) reported.By the resolution, Washington DC recognizes the Genocide and commemorates its 104th anniversary.And the Armenian Assembly of America particularly welcomed the fact that the resolution stresses the importance of informing Washington DC residents through education about the Armenian Genocide.Washington DC has joined 49 U.S. States and the U.S. House of Representatives in recognizing the Armenian Genocide and calling for its inclusion in the DC school curriculum. |
