A Ukrainian airliner with 180 people on board has crashed soon after taking off from Tehran's Imam Khomeini airport. Rescue teams have been sent to an area near the airport where the Boeing 737-800 belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed. The plane, bound for Kiev, suffered technical difficulties shortly after take-off. News of the crash broke just hours after Iran launched a ballistic missile attack targeting US troops at airbases in neighbouring Iraq.
