The total turnout at the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan amounted to 47.81%

Farid Orujov, head of the Vybory information center of the Azerbaijani Central Executive Committee secretariat, said at a briefing that the total turnout at the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan was 47.81%.
This is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to Orujov, by the time the polls closed at 19:00 (18:00 Moscow time), more than 2.5 million voters had voted.
On the morning of February 9, polling stations opened in Azerbaijan for voting in early parliamentary elections.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev cast his vote at one of the country's polling stations.
