Syrian Parliament recognizes Armenian Genocide
![]() 1133 Thursday, 13 February, 2020, 15:30 The Syrian Parliament has unanimously adopted a resolution on recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide, Syria-based journalist Sarkis Kassargian told Armenpress. The resolution has been introduced by the Syria-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Commission. Secretary of the Syrian Parliament Rami Saleh had noted that although the parliament had previously paid homage to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, this resolution was necessary to be adopted. |
