A field hospital is under construction in New York’s Central Park to help combat the coronavirus outbreak surging throughout the city. Crews began erecting the cluster of long, white medical tents in the park’s East Meadow lawn over the weekend.
The makeshift medical centre will house 68 beds and will be specifically designed to be a respiratory care unit.
