The World Health Organization (WHO) hasn't served America's interests and it would be unfair to fund the body with taxpayers' money, United States President Donald Trump told the apex health body in a strongly-worded letter.
Citing all the ways it failed to control the coronavirus pandemic, Trump gave WHO 30 days to take "substantive" corrective measures.
If it doesn't, funds will be stopped. In a letter to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Trump underlined that the organization's lax approach in the initial days turned out disastrous for the world.
