Flights can require passengers to follow certain regulations, one of which includes turning your phone off or switching it to flight mode. This means that a passenger can no longer access mobile data or the internet from their phones while in the sky. Many think that this is a pointless task but switching it to this setting proves to be rather crucial. Rules on a flight include keeping the food tray up during take off and landing, keeping the blind up and wearing the seatbelt when required to do so.One regulation that has left lots of questions is why passengers must switch to flight mode on their devices.
