It is important to continue expanding #OPEC format – Azerbaijan’s energy minister

It is important to continue expanding the OPEC+ format, said Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, according to Trend.
He made the remark during the international conference titled “Global Energy and International Political Risks” held by the Valdai Discussion Club and Azerbaijan’s Center for International Relations Analysis.
“In this extraordinary situation, the main mission of producing countries is to ensure OPEC+ format functioning as a stable and efficient mechanism of fulfilling the obligations. Stability in the oil market is in the interest of all its participants. That’s why I think it is important to continue to expand the OPEC+ format by attracting other producing countries,” said the minister.
