EU Permanent Representatives agree on expanding sanctions for violation of human rights

Permanent representatives of 27 EU member states have completed the negotiation of new restrictive measures against individuals who are responsible, according to Brussels, for human rights violations. We are talking, including about the citizens of Russia, reports on Wednesday, March 17
“Permanent representatives have finally approved a new black list of human rights violators, which includes individuals from different countries, including Russia, China, Libya,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
The diplomat noted that this decision is expected to be approved at the next meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU states, scheduled for March 22.
