Magnitude 5.2 Quake Hits SW Iran, No Casualties Reported
![]() 1025 Sunday, 06 June, 2021, 12:05 An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck Iran’s southwestern province of Ilam on Sunday. It was felt by people in other cities in Ilam and in nearby provinces like Kermanshah. Ayat Qeysarbeigi, director general of Ilam Province’s crisis management department, told Tasnim that relief and rescue teams have been dispatched to the affected areas. He said there have been no reports of damage or casualties yet.
