Tounyan on the Azerbaijani checkpoint: ''It is theoretically possible''

''I hope the situation will be regulated, because, in any case, it is improper to view such issues on the road connecting us to Iran'', said Babken Tounyan, a deputy from ''Civil contract'', during the briefing of the National Assembly, in response to a journalist’s question on the Azerbaijani checkpoint put in Vorotan. He asked to wait and see how the issue is going to be addressed.
''As far as I understand, it is theoretically possible… because a part of that road belongs to them, they have arrangements with our and the Russian side, according to which they should have some representation, but as for this situation when they stop the trucks entering our country and check them, I didn’t expect so'', said the deputy referring to the fact that Azerbaijanis check trucks coming from Iran.
