One of World's Most Powerful Volcanoes Wakes Up in Hawaii

The last time the Kilauea Volcano erupted in 2018 it destroyed hundreds of homes and left dozens of people injured.
One of the world's most active volcanoes – Kilauea on Hawaii's Big Island – started erupting on Wednesday, 29 September.
The eruption was detected at the Kilauea Halema’uma’u Crater, located in Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park, the US Geological Survey reported.
The activity is being closely monitored by authorities but currently isn't thought to present any threat to homes.
