US President Joe Biden instructed the State Department to allocate $600 million to support Ukraine. Including 350 million of this amount will go to the needs of the country's defense, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the White House statement.

It is noted that the head of the American state issued a memorandum on the provision of immediate military assistance to Kiev. ''Give the Secretary of State the following powers… to provide immediate military assistance to Ukraine,'' the document states.
