UK Minister for Armed Forces visits Azerbaijan

The UK Minister for Armed Forces, Major James Heappey MP is visiting Azerbaijan on 30 March, British Embassy in Azerbaijan told APA.

The visit will involve meetings with His Excellency President Ilham Aliyev, Minister of Defence Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Key topics for discussion will be opportunities to broaden UK-Azerbaijan defence cooperation during the 30 th anniversary year of UK-Azerbaijan bilateral relations, the ongoing situation following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and outstanding matters connected with the conflict with Armenia and the state of the peace process.
