The new package of EU measures against Russia may affect the financial sector and technological products, said Economics Minister, Vice-Chancellor Robert Habek on the ZDF TV channel.
The German politician also pointed to the possibility of introducing personal sanctions.
''The fifth package of sanctions will be adopted quickly,'' Khabek said. According to his forecasts, new restrictive measures will be adopted this week. At the same time, Khabek ruled out the scenario of an immediate embargo on the supply of oil, gas and coal from Russia.
