Google removes Russian Ministry of Defense website from search
![]() 1587 Tuesday, 05 April, 2022, 21:42 Google has removed the site of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (Russian Ministry of Defense) from the search results of its proprietary search engine. This was initially noticed by the Telegram channel “We Can Explain”. At the moment, if you enter the query “Ministry of Defense”, “Ministry of Defense of Russia” or “Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation” in a Google search, then a lot of information is displayed – from news to a link to Wikipedia and official social media accounts, including the YouTube channel of the same Ministry of Defense. But not the official website of the Russian Ministry of Defense, even if you enter a request from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation official website. Google itself has not yet commented on the situation.
