Russian President Vladimir Putin knows where he is leading the country, his spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday (May 17th). ''We are confident that we will win, Putin knows where he is leading the country,'' he said of the war with Ukraine.

He noted that any war ends in peace, and Russia’s voice will be heard, ''we will stand on our feet.''
