More than 30 countries demand to deprive the Russian Federation and Belarus of membership in international sports federations
![]() 2133 Saturday, 02 July, 2022, 11:42 The sports ministers of more than 30 European and non-European countries are calling for the exclusion of Russia and Belarus from international sports federations. This was announced by the Minister of Sports and Tourism of Poland, Kamil Bortnichuk. Already, 25 EU countries, as well as Great Britain, Liechtenstein, Iceland, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan and Norway, have signed a joint declaration on further sanctions in the field of sports. Bulgaria, Hungary and Switzerland are not on the list of signatories. |
