Roskomnadzor blocked access to the website of the German newspaper Die Welt.
The decision was made at the request of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office on July 9. In its decision, the agency referred to Article 15.3 of the Federal Law “On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection”. On this basis, they restrict access to sites related to calls for mass riots, extremism and participation in illegal mass actions, providing unreliable socially significant information under the guise of reliable messages.
