The United States added Kabaeva and the president of Metallurg Rashnikov to the sanctions list

The United States imposed sanctions against the Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Alina Kabaeva and the president of HC Metallurg Viktor Rashnikov.
This was reported on the official website of the US Treasury.
The athlete is included in the list of Specially Designated Nationals (SDN), which involves the blocking of assets and isolation from the dollar system.
On June 3, Kabaeva and Tatyana Navka fell under the sanctions of the European Union.
Earlier, the US Treasury announced the expansion of sanctions against Russia.
The new sanctions list includes 13 individuals and about 30 legal entities.
