13 flights canceled at Moscow airports due to snowfall

In Vnukovo (according to information at 8:29 Moscow time), 20 flights were delayed, 9 were canceled. In Domodedovo, 22 flights were delayed, two were canceled, in Sheremetyevo – 8 flights were delayed and two were canceled. On the eve of the weekend, the Ministry of Emergency Situations warned residents of Moscow and the Moscow region about the coming strong snowfall and ice. In addition, until the end of the day on December 18, winds of 7-12 meters per second with gusts of up to 15 meters per second are possible. The yellow danger level was announced due to a snowstorm until December 18, 21:00 Moscow time. |
