US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Laura Lokman arrived in Azerbaijan

The Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Energy Resources of the State Department, Laura Lockman arrived in Azerbaijan to hold meetings with government officials and participate in the meeting of the IX Southern Gas Corridor Council of Ministers, APA reports.

Mrs. Lokman heads the Energy Diplomacy team at the State Department's Bureau of Energy Resources. She will discuss US support for Azerbaijan's energy projects, as well as Azerbaijan's importance in helping stabilize Europe's energy security, including the Southern Gas Corridor.
