Turkey earthquake death toll rises to 12,873
![]() 976 Thursday, 09 February, 2023, 13:54 The number of people who died as a result of the powerful earthquake in southern Turkish provinces has reached 12,873, Trend reports via the Turkish media. According to the media, the number of injured people is currently 62,937. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 has hit southeastern Türkiye on Feb. 6, 2023. The earthquake occurred at a depth of seven kilometers in the Pazarcik region of Kahramanmaras Province. The provinces of Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adiyaman, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana and Kahramanmaras were subjected to the severe destruction. |
