Turkey earthquake death toll rises to 14,351
![]() 1080 Thursday, 09 February, 2023, 17:00 The number of people who died as a result of the powerful earthquake in southern Turkish provinces has reached 14,351, Trend reports via the Turkish media. According to the media, the number of injured people is currently 63,794. An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 hit southeastern Türkiye on Feb. 6, 2023. The earthquake occurred at a depth of seven kilometers in the Pazarcik region of Kahramanmaras Province. The provinces of Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adiyaman, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Adana, and Kahramanmaras were subjected to severe destruction. |
