The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have mined all roads and forest belts on the border with Belarus. This was stated by Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Strategic Communications under the Ukrainian Command of the United Forces Yevgeny Silkin, his words are quoted in The Washington Post (WP).

“We have mined every road and every forest strip,” he said. In addition, according to him, the Ukrainian military mined most of the border between Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. “We are not going to be friends with Russia or Belarus in the near future,” said Silkin.

On the afternoon of February 9, Belarusian border guards intercepted a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone in the country. The Border Committee of Belarus specified that the drone was noticed near the state border in the Stolin district of the Brest region on February 8. The drone was heading to the rear of the Belarusian territory. The device was equipped with a video camera and memory cards, the department added.
