6 killed after 6.4 magnitude earthquake hits Turkish province of Hatay
![]() 1240 Tuesday, 21 February, 2023, 10:00 A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has killed at least three people in the southeastern Turkish province of Hatay just two weeks after a deadly 7.7 earthquake struck southeastern Turkey and northern Syria on February 6. The Turkish Interior Ministry announced the fatalities and said more than 300 people were injured while six people are believed to be trapped under the rubble of three collapsed buildings. Scores of injuries were recorded in neighbouring Syria too. |
