One dead, dozens injured in earthquake in East of Turkey
![]() 1731 Monday, 27 February, 2023, 15:12 An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 hit eastern Türkiye at around 12:04 Feb. 27. The epicenter was about 8 km (5 miles) south-southeast of Yesilyurt, Yunus Sezer, head of Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said. Yunus Sezer noted that one citizen was dead, and 69 were injured during the tremor. 25 buildings in the town collapsed as a result, de added.
