Russian MoD: St. Petersburg airspace closure was due to 'air defence drills'

According to The Ministry Fighter jets of the air defence forces were involved “to practise interception and identification of a hypothetical target”. During the training, air defence forces worked on the detection, interception and identification of targets,” the ministry said. |
