Zelensky’s adviser allowed a “strategic retreat” from Bakhmut

Advisor to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on economic issues, Oleksandr Rodnyansky, in an interview with CNN, announced the possibility of the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) from Artemivsk if necessary.

Ukrainian forces, engaged in a months-long brutal fight with Russian forces around the city of Bakhmut, could "strategically pull back" if needed, an advisor to President Volodymyr Zelenksy said Tuesday.
“Russia is trying to encircle it right now […] if need be, they will strategically pull back – because we’re not going to sacrifice all of our people just for nothing,” added the adviser.
