''Armenia remains a ''partly free'' country''. Freedom House
![]() 1204 Thursday, 09 March, 2023, 17:30 The U.S democracy watchdog Freedom House presented its annual report. According to the report Armenia remains a «partly free» country. The rating of RA is 54 according to the 100-point system. It is mentioned that following local elections in December 2021, authorities within the Ministry of Justice began prosecuting several opposition-affiliated elected representatives of local government bodies. “These decisions were politically motivated”, mentioned in the report. According to Freedom House, this current situation is also the result of Azerbaijan’s ongoing aggression against Armenia.
