Meta exploring plans for new social app

Facebook and Instagram-parent Meta is exploring chances to have a new, standalone platform for sharing news updates. The new social platform will be a separate place, where users will be able to share timely updates.

The Meta representatives say it will be a kind of Twitter rival.
