Volodymyr Zelensky had a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

"They discussed interaction in work with other international partners regarding the consolidation of their support for the Ukrainian peace formula. They coordinated positions on the eve of important international events and agreed on the next concrete steps within the framework of the bilateral dialogue," the message reads.

The President of Ukraine also informed his colleague in detail about the situation at the front and the prospects for its development in May-June. Separately, he emphasized the priority needs of the Ukrainian defense forces.

"The speed and specificity of the response is very important, it is what significantly strengthens our capabilities. We appreciate France's confirmation of providing our Armed Forces with a powerful armored package," Zelensky noted.
