As of today, British lawyers will be prevented from advising Russian companies on certain business deals. It is the latest move aimed at cutting off Moscow economically. British officials said the sanction could impact Russia's ability to obtain legal advice on everything from trade deals between global corporations to international money lending. The Ministry of Justice, which announced the move, said Russia is highly dependent on Western countries for legal expertise. |
