Russian Defense Ministry not discussing withdrawal of peacekeepers from Karabakh

The information that the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Defense is discussing the withdrawal of peacekeepers from Nagorno-Karabakh with Baku or Yerevan is not true. A diplomatic source told Russian news agency TASS.
“Information in a number of media outlets that the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Defense is discussing in Baku or Yerevan the withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping contingent from Karabakh does not correspond to reality. We are talking about planned contacts on the current activities of peacekeepers,” the agency’s source said.
