U.S. President Joe Biden said he will continue to make efforts to ensure that Israel has everything necessary "to protect." "I must continue to make efforts so that you (Israel – ed.) have everything necessary for protection," he said at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu․ After visiting Israel he planned to meet in Amman with King Abdullah II of Jordan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the head of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, but the visit to the Jordanian capital was canceled after the attack on a hospital in the Gaza Strip.
