US President Joe Biden arrived in Tel Aviv in war-torn Israel on Wednesday on what was a high-stakes trip since Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel and Israel's subsequent counteroffensive on October 7. Biden met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and said the US will continue to support the Jewish nation and make sure Israel has "what it needs to defend itself".
