More than 2.3 thousand children have died in the Gaza Strip. UNICEF

More than 2.3 thousand children have died in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict, more than 5.3 thousand children have been injured, according to a press release from the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF).
"Over the past 18 days, the Gaza Strip has witnessed victims among its children: according to reports, as a result of the incessant attacks, 2,360 (children - ed.) were killed and 5,364 were injured," the report says.
According to UNICEF, more than 400 children in Gaza are injured or killed every day.
