Death toll from mine fire in Kazakhstan rises to 35
2789 Sunday, 29 October, 2023, 11:18 The death toll from a mine accident in Kazakhstan’s Karaganda region has risen to 35, the Kazakh emergencies ministry said in a statement, reported Sputnik. “As of now, the bodies of 35 people have been found… 29 bodies have been raised to the surface. An active search for 11 miners continues,” the ministry said. |
