Fortune of richest Russians grows $38.6B since early year

The wealth of Russia’s richest businessmen has increased by $38.575 billion since the beginning of this year, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which, in particular, is calculated based on the value of company shares, Report informs referring to TASS.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, since the beginning of the year, Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov has earned $9.14 billion, his fortune has increased to $24.5 billion. The fortune of the co-founder of Eurochem and SUEK Andrey Melnichenko increased by $4.03 billion, to $17.2 billion. At the same time, former vice-president of Lukoil Leonid Fedun earned $3.89 billion, his net worth is $9.76 billion
The greatest losses were suffered by a member of the Federation Council from the Republic of Dagestan and businessman Suleyman Kerimov, his fortune decreased by $0.65 billion, to $8.34 billion.
Since March 2012, Bloomberg has been publishing the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which includes information on the wealth of the 500 richest people on the planet.
