Republican Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio called Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the United States to provide aid to Kyiv a "shameful farce" Vance noted that there will be an undignified process when Zelinsky comes and demands that US taxpayers give him another $61 billion. He also called Zelenski's visit a "ridiculousness" that was designed only to put pressure on Republicans to abandon the issue of the southern border of the U.S.

He stated this on Fox News.

The congressman noted that there will be an undignified process when Zelensky comes and demands that US taxpayers give him another $61 billion.

He also called Zelensky's visit a "ridiculousness" that was designed only to put pressure on Republicans to abandon the issue of the southern border of the United States and give Kyiv another carte blanche.
"I've been in the Senate for almost a year now. It's the most shameful farce I've seen in a year here," Vance added.
