The United States welcomes Erdogan's actions

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, on his account on the social network X, welcomed Erdogan's approval of Sweden's membership in NATO.

"We welcome the signing by Turkish President Erdogan of the ratification protocol for Sweden. We look forward to receiving the documents in Washington and welcome Sweden as the 32nd NATO ally. Sweden and the alliance are stronger together," Blinken said.
