Turkish Foreign Ministry: The US is playing with fire by striking Yemen

The United States, by striking Yemen, is playing with fire, which at any moment can lead to a fire in the Middle East region. The statement was made by the head of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan.

In an interview with A-haber TV channel, Fidan stressed that such a fire would not be subject to any control. He added that Turkey is in constant dialogue with regional partners and the United States.

"Regional expansion should be avoided, the situation is not very good. We may face even greater expansion," Fidan said.

Earlier, the assistant to the President of the United States for National Security, Jake Sullivan, announced the country's intention to launch new strikes in the Middle East.
