Macron to gather European leaders over Kremlin statements

French President Emmanuel Macron intends to gather about 20 European leaders on February 26 for the sake of a "message" to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, as well as to reiterate that Moscow will not win the conflict with Kiev. "We want to send Putin a very clear signal that he will not win in Ukraine," said Macron, The Guardian reports.
"They want to counter the Kremlin's claims that Russia will inevitably win the war against Ukraine", President Emmanuel Macron's adviser told reporters.
