The speaker of the United States Department of State, Matthew Miller, said during a briefing that the United States had already warned Russia about the consequences of using nuclear weapons. According to him, the threats from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are irresponsible.
“This is not the first time we have seen Vladimir Putin's irresponsible rhetoric,” the official stressed. Miller also noted that such statements by the leader of a state with nuclear weapons are unacceptable. He added that earlier this issue had already been discussed with Russia.
