We do not rule out deployment of Western troops in Ukraine – Secretary of Ukraine's Defence Council

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, considers it possible that the West may start helping Ukraine not only with armament but with troops as well.
"We definitely do not rule out the possibility of some military units of some countries being deployed on our territory, if they [the countries – ed.] make a corresponding decision."
At the same time, Danilov noted that the issue of deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine is very sensitive and cannot always be publicly discussed.
Danilov mentioned that at the moment Ukraine is waiting first and foremost for timely armament supplies from its Western partners.
