Washington has made it clear that welcomes the dialogue on normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, the head of the press service of the U.S. State Department Matthew Miller said during a regular briefing, answering a question about possible future contacts between Azerbaijan and Armenia․
Miller said that the solution to the issue lies through the negotiation table.
"I don't want to talk about the upcoming negotiations. We have made it clear that we welcome dialogue. We are happy to play any role to facilitate this dialogue and will continue to do so. I don't want to talk about any specific meetings beforehand," the State Department spokesman added.
