79th session of the United Nations General Assembly begins today

The 79th United Nations General Assembly begins here today. The UNGA is taking place this year from September 10 to September 30 under the theme 'Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations'.
Although the General Assembly starts today, the high-level general discussion will be held from September 24. According to the UNGA agenda, the discussion will be held until September 28 and will conclude on September 30.
